A lighthouse guides, A lighthouse warns of rocks, reefs, and currents. A lighthouse serves as a beacon, A beacon to guide others safely into port.
A lighthouse is built from strong material, And reinforced with even stronger materials, So that it may stand up to the all that may happen to it. A lighthouse may vary in size, shape, or color.
A lighthouse gives off a light for all, A light that will be bent by a lens into a powerful central beam, So that it may shine a bright light to all things around it. There is a keeper lives in the lighthouse,

Let me tell you the story of how I let Jesus into my heart.
You see, before I met Jesus, my heart was a horrible place to be. The stench of hate was everywhere, and you just couldn't get rid of the smell of bitterness. Envy was strewn all over the floor, and there were spots of jealousy all over the walls. Worse, it was cluttered with anxiety and you couldn't walk very far before tripping on some form of burden or other. It was really such a mess. There were stains of sin on everything, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't wash those stains away. You can imagine the state I was in. Everyday, coming home to a heart like this. Though I walk through the halls of death, I know that God has not failed me yet.
Though I see the demons prowling each day, just waiting for me to fall, I know that God has sent his angels to guide me, and all I have to do is call.
Though I hear the evil forces surrounding me, whispering in my ear all the things that they think that my flesh would like to hear, I know that God won't let them capture me, because greater is He that is in me.
Though I step on rocks and stones, sticks and bricks, I may trip, but I will not stumble, because I know that God will be there in times of trouble.
With the Lord as my guide, and the angels on my side, I Shall Not Fear...
He has loved me from the beginning. I wouldn't accept Him. He has been present every moment of my life. I wouldn't acknowledge Him. He wanted to carry my burdens. I wouldn't let Him. He wanted to ease my pain. I wouldn't give it to Him. Yet in my deepest and darkest moment, He carried me through to the end; Where on bended knee before His Son, I humbled myself and . . .
Accepted His Grace, His Mercy, His Peace, And His Love in Faith.
At the University of Chicago Divinity School each year they have what is called "Baptist Day". It is a day when all the Baptists in the area are invited to the school because they want the Baptist dollars to keep coming in.
On this day each one is to bring a lunch to be eaten outdoors in a grassy picnic area. Every "Baptist Day" the school would invite one of the greatest minds to lecture in the theological education enter.
One year they invited Dr. Paul Tillich. Dr. Tillich spoke for 2 ½ hours proving that the resurrection of Jesus was false. He quoted scholar after scholar and book after book. He concluded that since there was no such thing as the historical resurrection the religious tradition of the church was groundless,

I am the Lord your God. Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please remember that I do not need your help. If the devil happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, DO NOT attempt to resolve it.
Kindly put it in the SFJTD (something for Jesus to do) box. It will be addressed in MY time, not yours.
Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it or attempt to remove it. Holding on or removal will delay the resolution of your problem. If it is a situation that you think you are capable of handling, please consult me in prayer to be sure that it is the proper resolution.
