We have lift off!'
A relentless propulsion into tomorrow -
Irreversibly awesome.
Thrust by a mighty hand
Into new dimensions of reality,
Cocooned in crimson armour-plating
Floating in impenetrable stillness.
At our feet the world abandoned,
Familiar memories and old ways
Left behind, growing distant,
Seen now through a glass darkly.
Freed from downward pulls
New gravity forms between us.
We reach out to draw others close,
To unite in love's embrace.
Now together, flying sonwards
Irresistibly compelled by dazzling beauty.
We plunge into a heart of holy love
To live, eternally consumed by fire.
